Voici l'œuvre traditionnelle en mosaïque appelée aussi millefiori.
Il s'agit d'une mosaïque composée de nombreux morceaux de canne colorée travaillés à la main puis fondus ensemble à environ 1 200 degrés. Après la fusion, ils sont refroidis très lentement dans des fours appelés tempera pour éviter qu'ils ne se fissurent. Une fois refroidis, ils sont broyés et polis à la main.
Fabriqué entièrement à la main à Murano.
