La perle est sertie manuellement à chaud dans un cadre en argent spécialement fabriqué. Les perles sont fabriquées selon un processus similaire à la technique Sommerso . Il est constitué d'une couche de verre coloré avec inclusion d'une feuille de platine recouverte d'une couche de cristal.
Le verre a été fabriqué à la main à Venise, puis monté et fini à Florence.
