Murano glass Zebra

Alessandro Barbaro is one of the most skilful and important active artists in Murano nowadays.
His peculiarity is the high sensibility in making animals.
We are very pleased to propose some of his works in our website, considering that his artpieces are usually displayed in the most important Murano show- rooms and in exclusive glass galleries.
Each antelope is realized by him and his team of 4 handcrafts, while he personally signs every piece. The pure gold leaf is applied when the figure is shaped between the two layers of crystal. We hope these pictures can express the feeling of the movement and the gentle proportions of each animal.
