Prancing Horse - Calcedonio Murano Glass

The Rampant Horse is a Murano Glass sculpture that was created using the ancient glass blowing technique known as "Calcedonia" .

Traditionally, the Murano glassblowers have utilised this method to tint their creations. The stunning Calcedonio  striations appear when specific chemicals are added to molten glass during the melting process.

This is a one-of-a-kind piece because even the artisans have no control over the appearance. Since no two chalcedony pieces have the same striations, no two will ever be the same! That's why this Murano Glass sculpture is the ideal gift for Father's Day or to give to your boss, especially in case there's a promotion around the corner (wink, wink).
