The beads are manually set under heat in expressly made silver frames.The beads are made with a process similar to the sommerso technique. It consists of a layer of colored glass with the inclusion of a gold leaf coated with a crystal layer.
The glass has been handcrafted in Venice, then mounted and finished in Florence.
