Murano glass sculpture, made with the techniques of Massello and Chalcedony. The love knot is a typical Murano message of love and friendship.
It represents an indispensable bond, a stable bond that resists any difficulties and problems over time.
Don't be fooled by its apparent simplicity: creating this twisted shape requires speed, precision and great knowledge of ancient Murano glass techniques.
The sturdy solid glass base supports the sculpture and gives additional light to the entire composition.
Its peculiar colors are due to the chalcedony technique.
The coloring effect is obtained by adding a mixture of different metal oxides to the molten glass.
The results are incredible. Handmade in Murano, following the ancient techniques of Murano glass.
