Born in 1909 in Coosbay. She studied at the University of California. In 1942 she was known as a successful sculptor. She lived and worked in Paris from 1950 to 1959, back in U.S.A. she taught at various unversities.
In 1971 she started cooperating with Salviati & Co. for about ten years.
