Born in Venice in 1936. Studied at the Carmini State Institute of Art and later taught architecture. After having worked for a brief period as a designer in ceramics, he joined Cenedese's in 1958 as art director; an appointment he has been holding to this day. A typical feature of his work is the bright colours used in the "sommersi" glassware in the 50s and 60s.
