The art of blown glass in the Art Nouveau

One particular period in which blown glass was prominent was the Art Nouveau art movement, which emerged in the late 1800s characterized by organic, flowing forms inspired by nature.
Art Nouveau glass artists were known for their innovative techniques and designs incorporating complex patterns, experimenting new colors and textures incorporating materials such as gold, enamel and iridescent coatings into their pieces.
One of the most famous glass artists of the Art Nouveau period was Émile Gallé, a French artist known for his patterns and use of bright colors. He used botanical patterns and organic shapes with intricate details.
Another famous Art Nouveau artist is Louis Comfort Tiffany, an American artist known for his use of opalescent glass and his innovative techniques in creating decorative lamps and stained glass. His works were characterized by their vivid colors and are highly sought after by collectors today.
