Giovanni Luca Ferreri

He was born in Monza in 1970. In 1998 he graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Milan Polytechnic.
In 2003 he obtained the title of PhD in Architectural Composition at the Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia (XV ciclo) with a thesis entitled: "Construction of an imagined city", Supervisor Prof. Guido Canella, Co-supervisor Prof. Luciano Semerani .


From 2004 to today - continuously - he is contract professor at the Polytechnic of Milan (Faculty of Civil Architecture - Bovisa), at the University of Bologna (Faculty of Architecture of Cesena) and at the University of Parma (Faculty of Architecture - Building Techniques), of theoretical and laboratory courses for the teaching of Composition and Urban Design.
Since December 2003 he has been scientific consultant of the Musei Civici di Udine for the organization and study of the Archives of Architecture. The assignment also includes the task of divulging, through exhibitions and initiatives, part of the archival architectural heritage kept at the Galleria d’Arte Moderna di Udine.
Since the first edition of 2004 he has collaborated with the Festival dell’Architettura di Parma, taking care of the conception and organisation of various international exhibitions, disseminated through writings and publications.
Since graduation he collaborates with the Department of Architectural Design of the Facoltà di Architettura Civile (Politecnico di Milano - Bovisa) and carries out scientific activity in various research programs.
He lives in Milan, where he carries out professional activity with jobs in Italy and abroad. Part of his work concerns building typologies and collective spaces in relation to public buildings.
He designed some mirror collections for the company Arte Veneziana
