Mosaicist born in Venice in 1962, he learned the art of glass decorating from his father.
He has continued to study fine arts and the history of art at the State Institute of Art and
From 1985 he has taught mosaic at the Art Institute of Venice.
In 1986 he participated in the 42nd International Art Exhibition LaBiennale di Venezia. He collaborated with the Interdepartmental Centre for the Study of Colour and Art at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Padova. Furthermore, he has participated in the restoration and conservation of mosaics and is a member of AISCOM (The Italian Association for the Study and Conservation of Mosaics).
He teaches many courses on mosaic technique in many conferences held by cultural association, museums, and for the Fine Arts Academy of Venice and the Pontifical Commission for Conservation of Ecclesiastical Artworks. The most important public mosaics of Massimo Daissè can be found in New York (O.N.U.), Dallas (Texas), Sidney (Medical Center), and in Bolsena “Catacomb, tomb of Saint Cristina.”
