Oscar Kokoschka

Oscar Kokoschka

Born in Pöchlarn in 1886 and died in Villeneuve in 1980.
He spent his formative years at the Vienna School Decorative Arts in the "Secession" climate, in close contact with Gustav Klimt, then he joined the expressionist current.


In 1922 he participated in the Venice Biennale and in 1953 in the first exhibition organised by Fucina degli Angeli .
In 1954 he designed the "Coppa delle Baccanti" commissioned by S.A.L.I.R. 's by Fucina degli Angeli.
