Jean Arp

Born in Strasbourg in 1887, he died in Locarno in 1966 (some biographies incorrectly indicate Bale or Meudon). Painter, sculptor and poet, he discovered Modern Art during a stay in Paris.
He associated with the greatest artists of the 20th century but he keeped to his own personal style.
In 1954 he won the Biennale Di Venezia International Prize and in the same year he designed the logo for Fucina degli Angeli , where he worked during the 60s.
