Gino Salmistrari was born in Mestre in 1927.
He became a glass master when only 21 at Mazzega, creating glass artworks designed by Vigilio Guidi .Then at Seguso-Dalla Venezia glasworks, he gave birth to creations by Lucio Fontana .
At the end of the 70's he has worked Archimede Seguso for ten years, then at Ferro & Lazzarini before retiring.
