Cesare Laurenti

Painter known exspecially as a ceramic's decorator.
His large tiled panel "La storia dell'arte" is justly famous: it was exhibited at the 1901 Venice Biennale and was subsequently purchased by the Museum of Modern Art (New York). Together with Umberto Bellotto he patented a method in 1920 to obtain " connubi di ferro e vetro " (unions of iron and glass).
He died in Venice in 1937.
