The items from the Incisi series - designed by Carlo Scarpa for Venini & C. - were conceived as unique artefacts with wheel-ground geometric, abstract or figurative decorations.
Many of them were also lightly velato -finished.
For this astonishing series, Scarpa cooperated with Venini grinders and engravers Eliseo Piano and Armando Campagnol, and the famous Bohemian engraver Franz Pelzel .
