Walter Bodmer

Born in 1903 in Bale where he studied at the Ecole des Art et Metiers.
He first moved to Paris and later, for a few years, to Spain where he joined the Allianz. He exhibited in Germany and Switzerland from 1952 to 1960.
He participated in the 1956 Venice Biennale and in the same year he was awarded the National Prize from the Salomon Guggenheim Foundation.
He has worked with Fucina degli Angeli in the mid 60s.
