Alessandro Mandruzzato

Alessandro Mandruzzato is a Murano glass maestro specialised in the shaping and incision of cold glass. Vases, ashtrays, bottles: every product is handmade in Murano, following the traditional glass making techniques.

He has began working with glass in 1985, at the age of 15. Learning from his father, he's developed what has become his passion: giving shape to a fragile material such as glass.
Nowadays Mandruzzato is specialised in glass grinding, creating unique and sometimes daring experimental artworks.
All of his works can be considered autobiographical, sine they are inspired by important experiences in his life. Some of them can be admired in several galleries and private collections all over the world, including Milan, New York, Dubai, Saint Petersburg and Moscow.
