Simon Berger, a Swiss artist born on April 9, 1976, has gained worldwide recognition for his innovative approach to art using materials such as wood, metal, and glass.
His interest in these materials began during his carpentry apprenticeship in his youth, which he later applied to his work as a street artist. He discovered the potential of metal from windshields and glass for new artistic explorations using hammer blows on car carcasses.
His originality and skill quickly captured the attention of institutions, galleries, and festivals worldwide.
Simon's recent projects include creating portraits of notable figures such as Kamala Harris and Kemal Atatürk, as well as paying tribute to the victims of the 2020 Beirut port explosion through his glass canvases for the We Are Unbreakable initiative.
Recently, he has transitioned from the two-dimensional format of his glass portraits to the three-dimensional format of sculpture, further pushing the boundaries of his chosen medium. Simon Berger's unique style and technique have made him a sought-after artist in the international art scene.
His solo exhibition Shattering Beauty, curated by Sandrine Welte in collaboration with the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia and Berengo Studio, is on view from January 28, 2023 to May 07, 2023

I am talented in graphic arts, but like many others, I am very interested by this kind of art with glasses, and I would like to ask you, please, how I can learn it, and may God bless you for supporting me.
