Born in Murano in 1940. At the age of 14 he was apprenticed to master glass blower Ermanno Nason , at the firm Mazzega I.V.M. From 1958 to 1960 he attended the Institute of
Fine Arts in Venice, where he studied under Professor Angelo Fuga . In the same period started working, still with the same firm, Mazzega I.V.M., as a junior master. His first experience as a Maestro came in 1968 when he began working for Fratelli Pitau. He remained there for 10 years working on many different types of productions. From 1979 until late 1983 he worked for the firm Oball. His favorite artist was Picasso, but he was never able to meet him.
After 1984, in his own glassworks-studio, he was finally able to work freely, and began working on glass sculptures.

Is there any way to tell if a Murano bowl signed Badioli is authentic. It has his Picasso style and colors.
Purchased in Murano in 1999.
