Born in Murano in 1894, he died there in 1986.
He studied engineering at the University of Padua.
In 1925 he became a partner of Venini & C., and later left it together with Napoleone Martinuzzi in 1932, in order to open the Zecchin Martinuzzi Vetri Artistici e Mosaici, furnace that was closed in 1939.
After the Second World War he practiced his profession and builded many furnaces in Murano.
